Veiling always reminds me of when the Priest holds the Monstrance with the Humeral veil- he veils his hands to make himself forgotten, likewise I veil my head to make myself small and Christ big. To remind me over and over again that without Him, I am lost. I yearn to become little in His eyes and when at Holy Mass, my veil helps shroud me and keep my eyes directed upon Heaven...
